Binary package hint: network-manager
using fully upgraded 8.04 LTS i386 kernel 2.6.24-19
When a WM6 device is connected it replaces the wired ethernet connection.
Wired connection does not recover automatically after WM6 device is unplugged.
ifdown; ifup fixes the problem after the device is disconnected.
Same result on two computers.
