Thanks for the additional information.
I close this bugreport now as it seems to be either a corrupted archive
or a corrupted disk.
Unfortunately I have no idea why your disk gets corruption, but I would
suggest running the memtester that is part of the ubuntu grub boot menu
to see if there is bad RAM in your computer.
