b) starting/booting Ubuntu or
c) Opening a new file using Open Office?
2) What is the version of the Java(JRE) in your system?
3) How are you running OpenOffice - via the command prompt or by clicking on
the file?
This will greatly help us in tracking down your problem. Feel free to
