I have installed Kubuntu 6.10 RC1 on a friend's computer with ~12
partitions on one HDD (the only one).
I have chosen Manual Partitioning and, when the installer got to the
page where I have to choose the partitions and their types (the page
with the bar graph at the top of the window), the window's width
exceeded the width of the screen by... hmm... many many times - I
couldn't shrink it.
Going to the next step (= Choosing mount points and so on) kept the
window the same size - I could shrink it until it fit one screen.
Personally, I would have liked a non-resizable window placed in the
center of the screen.
