That's an awful lot of memory - even when swapped out (I only have so
much swap). Dapper's gnome-terminal didn't use anything like this much
memory.
(FWIW, that's 3 full size (1600x1200) gnome-terminals and no tabs and
after only 10 days of uptime.)
