Binary package hint: debian-installer
This report is based on the amd64 intrepid iso dated Jun 26, 2006. The
install was attempted on bare metal, an Inspiron 1420 w/core2duo.
The installation progressed normally until the user configuration after
reboot. When attempting to forward past step one (localization) to step
two, the configuration hangs and will not proceed. Rebooting and
reattempting user configuration result in a hang at the same point. It
is not possible to get past this point.
