This problem is way more general, is not only affecting Xubuntu Edgy, is
also affecting Kubuntu 6.06.1 LTS, and even when I haven't tested,
should affect all 6.06.1 releases and any other future or present
release that relay on non-static archive.

My complete speculation about the problem would be(some of this facts
have been already addressed in previous comments):

I guess that after an update in the archive, the jigdo file hasn't been
updated, so it contain files no longer availables.

This problem is not simple, cause, I don't see the ubuntu team making
new isos every time a packages in an iso get updated in the archive.

Maybe by not removing files from the archive that still belongs to some
iso, you can accomplish this. But I don't know how easy will be this,
cause I imagine that the content of the archive if controled by a
software, that only keep the contents of Packages files.

Hope it can be fixed, I also would like to hear any correction on my
thoughts.

Carlos Javier
