If I submit this wrong, please bear with me, I'm a newbie. 
My computer:

Sony Vaio PCG-fx210 (laptop)
Belkin F5D7010 PCMCIA card (Broadcom)
ATI Rage Mobility Graphics
(Visual Effects - OFF)
384 RAM
Ubuntu - 8.0.4
FF-3

My computer freezes (cursor, keyboard and alt-ctrl-del have effect) at
random intervals (no apparent cause), but will continue working if I
eject the Belkin PCMCIA card. This problem did not occur in Gutsy.
