I add that the problem affects both Kubuntu 8.04 and Kubuntu-KDE4 8.04 but not Kubuntu 7.10 or previous. You can easily check it by simply running the live CD then install and run the package showimg: $ sudo apt-get install showimg $ showimg May be a Qt regression?
