Hi Ralph,
Generally, the debdiff looks good, but contains a number of imho
unnecessary changes:
- any reason to use a compat file instead of the export DH_COMPAT?
- bumping standards version: the numbers have some meaning, have you checked
that 3.7.3 does still apply?
- why do you add a hand-crafted patch system? There's none in the unstable
package, and we shouldn't add such big diversion imho.
- the change to debian/copyright seems unnecessary. While the original package
doesn't match what's verbatim in the source, this one doesn't as well. Also The
only thing that's really worth to change there is the link, which became wrong
since GPL-3 was put as symlink /usr/share/common-
licenses/GPL
In short: can you redo a debdiff with minimal changes? Please
resubscribe ubuntu-universe-sponsors then.
Thanks,
Stefan.
