I have had the same problem in Kubuntu 8.04, but not in Ubuntu 8.04
Well, I am using Kubuntu in the laptop and Ubuntu in the desktop.
When closing gmail tabs, just kubuntu's firefox crashes. It is very weird. In
Ubuntu (desktop) it works very fine.
ubuntu - Pentium IV 3.0 HT - 1.5 GB RAM - Kernel Linux 2.6.24-19-generic GNOME
2.22.2 Firefox 3.0
kubuntu - Core Duo T2350 - 1GB RAM Dual Channel - Kernel Linux
2.6.24-19-generic KDE 3.5.9 Firefox 3.0
