I could find the reason for the trouble: I used Option "device" "/dev/psaux" in the section for the touchpad.
I don't know why, actually, but appearently the MX1000 will be virtually connected to /dev/psaux and mousedrv will take control of it So the only problem with mousedrv is, that it doesn't support more than 10 buttons. I can use evdev in parallel, now.
