Whenever a download completes in Mozilla Firefox 3, a notification
slides up the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. This obscures the
virtual desktop selector, which is more than a minor nuisance.
I am unsure of whether this should be classified as a Firefox 3.0 issue
(should be more selective of where it draws the notification), a GNOME
issue (should be more restrictive of where it allows things to be
drawn), or an X.org issue (shouldn't allow things to 'cover' layers at
the top). That's for someone a bit wiser than me to decide!
A more pleasant behavior would be for the notification to be drawn
either from the top of the lower menu bar (if one exists), or to be
drawn from the base of the Firefox 3.0 window.
