Hi, Mike. It seems impossible to construct a testcase regarding this
bug. I've been trying to notice a pattern for weeks now. You can just
sit there typing "ls" over and over and occasionally the output will not
show properly. My guess is that there is some sort of time syncing issue
going on between X and compiz. It happens in gnome-terminal and also
xterm windows. It does seem to be more frequent in the xterms than in
the gnome-terminals. But there's also a distinct other behavior where
sometimes windows that were covered up do not show their text upon re-
display. The cause of this may be different but it too is
unreproducible: same conditions... different results.

Is it a problem with the terminal program? Probably not. I've never seen
this behavior in years of using these programs and I've used them for
years. Only when compiz is running.

I think best thing to do is wait to see if other people are experiencing
this and go from there. I'll look into making a video of the problem
sometime in a week'ish when I get a chance. It's not easy to explain in
words.
