Status in Source Package "parallels" in Ubuntu: Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: parallels
I have a Dell Inspiron 1420N running Dell's Version of Ubuntu 7.10. I have
been
working to get Parallels to work, and I been installing XP as a guest OS since
early February 2008. I had Parallels 2.2.2222 working with XP with NO
networking at all. I had Parallels 2.2.2224 where nothing worked at all.
Now I have Parallels 2.2.2226 working with XP as the guest OS and I can get
the
networking to work in the XP guest OS only if I plug in the a cable to the
ethernet port. I sure would like to get the networking in the XP guest OS
feeding off my wireless card in Ubuntu?
Also I have noticed my system completely locks up at times on the 2.2.226
version when either using XP guest or the Ubuntu host.
Please advise.
