Hi,

I had the same problem, my NFS server machine is under Ubuntu Hardy
64bit, and my client machine under Kubuntu Hardy 32bit. I had a hard
time figuring out what was wrong, but after a while I got it : I had
added a new nic, and had changed all the IP addresses on my systems. I
had changed before /etc/hosts.allow. Dang ! That was it : the old
addresses were still there. I changed them, restarted all the required
services and it worked.

Don't forget also to comment out the OPTIONS line pointing to 127.0.0.1
in /etc/default/portmap !
