A workaround would be to install pdftk and use this to rotate PDFs
before printing them.
For example, the following should work for the first Wiggles
illustration on the page you linked to:
pdftk band.pdf cat 1-endR output band-rotated.pdf
This may not an elegant workaround, but it is a workaround!
