You have been subscribed to a public bug by Jamie Strandboge (jdstrand):

using hardy heron. currently writing a doc using open office and
noticed that files and applications were opening in the task bar at the
bottom of the screen. Seems to start with the Alska sound mixer and
then progresses into the Calender and Zone programme, it/ them even
managed to open my file browers and launch itself into terminal not to
mention start firefox (which I no longer use) and Opera

I did notice that when I installed Hardy Heron the first thing that I
got on screen was a pop up saying that my version of windows was not up
to scratch and that I should debug it with this particular bit of
software, which I obviousley declined. At first I thought this was
quite funny as it suggested that you had being doing your homework
rather well or a bit too well.

just like the person/thing on the other side who's interfering with my
text as I write this I'm quite enjoying it in a strange way. Man these
things get more interactive each day.

can you guys help me out on this as it kinda pisses me off as well

warm regards

iain
