I'm using a NVidia GeForce 8600GT video card and experience problems
when using the nv and nouveau xorg drivers. When I use the vesa driver,
the problem is not present. During login and whenever an application is
launched my entire screen flashes black repeatedly. I have been unable
to test the proprietary driver against this problem: the nvidia-glx-new
driver module fails to load and the official installer file refuses to
run (says the kernel is incompatible due to having Xen support). I had
none of these problems in Hardy (tested nv and nvidia drivers).
