Same here - problem cannot be reproduced. This has only started happening since v3 was installed through the auto updated in 8.04.
When a website is visited, the browser just quits. No notices, no warnings. When starting it back up again, you get the "Firefox closed unexpectedly - restore tabs" options though. It then restores the page you initially had open before clicking the link. If you click the link again, it works fine. AFAICT - this only happens on link clicks - not with typing addresses into the address bar. I have noting in /var/crash , and I'll install the firefox crash thingie as suggested by them, see if I can get any more info. I'm going to have a guess at a flash related problem. I tried installing the Adobe verison of Flash direct from thier website to see if that recitified any problems, but it just dies again. I'll look into installing another flash option - but this may not be suitable for all users.
