Well, its a bug with Firefox and GReader. The best way to circumvent this problem is simply clear your cache, and reload firefox. This is what I did. It worked in prism because Firefox, in simple terms, opened another session for GReader, which is inherently clean with no cache. Hence GReader will open without problem.
I suppose the firefox developers are working on this issue. The Google team is delving into this matter as well, ever since they have realised that the percentage of firefox users is soaring while that of Internet Explorer is dwindling. The issue has been reported on several sites, but let's just be patient, GReader may still be in a near-to-final beta state. Note that this problem does not affect IE, though I don't remember anyone in my immediate circle who still use that software. -- Google Reader without feeds in Prism package https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/237030 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
