Disabling the GCJ plugin seemed to resolve the problem for a while, but then - some days ago - I noticed that still the blank window appeared. So I disabled the Flashblock extension and I it has not happened again - yet. I am not sure this plugin is the buggy one, so please try uninstalling it. Perhaps this helps.
