Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: virtualbox-ose
When creating a new disk in the Virtual Disk Manager, entering the size
manually does not work properly if using only one numeral after the
decimal place (i.e. 1.5 instead of 1.50). Obviously, this is not a high
priority issue (with an extremely obvious workaround), but it might also
be pretty easy to fix.
Repro steps:
1. Open VirtualBox OSE.
2. File > Virtual Disk Manager...
3. Actions > New...
4. Hit Next until you reach the Virtual Disk Location and Size prompt.
5. Enter "1.5 GB" in Image Size text field.
6. Hit Next. The summary will show "1.05" for the disk image size.
When entering "1.5 GB" in the field, it should either ask for the input
to conform to "x.yy GB" or interpret the input as "1.50 GB" instead of
"1.05 GB".
Package: virtualbox-ose
Version: 1.5.6-dfsg-6ubuntu1
Running on Ubuntu Hardy 8.04.1
Thanks, that is all.
