Public bug reported:
The indicator light on my gateway laptop shows AC power but battery
monitor pop-up window says the AC has been disconnected and the icon
indicates the laptop is running on battery.

I expect the battery monitor to correctly indicate the current status of
the power source for my laptop.
The battery monitor is incorrectly indicating the laptop is running on
DC when the laptop power light shows the laptop is running on AC.
