Thanks, Agostino and Colin. Some questions:

 * Was this ntfs-3g patch sent/ack'ed upstream? Is it fixed in Intrepid
already?

 * What is the rationale for adding the change to ntfs-3g and dropping
the equivalent sysctl call in lupin? Is the hack in lupin insufficient
to fix the problem? I need to understand why we need to make this
"shift" in the hardy stable release (it's certainly good to clean up
hacks in Intrepid, of course)
