Same here... :( Playing BBC iPlayer non-fullscreen showed a slight improvement. Much less frames dropped during fast action scenes and less tearing. Fullscreen still a slideshow. I noticed that the flashplayer-nonfree package appears to be the earlier beta of flash now though?
