Currently, the hardy-proposed has no new nvidia driver.
I've downloaded the latest file from proposed with out any difference.
upon change to 169.12 system crashed within a few minutes.
returning to 173.14.05 improved overall system stability, however, freezes
appear again, additionally I've discovered that I'm unable to bring the system
back from DPMS, only restart of X (or gdm) solves the problem.
any ideas how to fix this?
how can I revert to an earlier nvidia package?
