My system is a Acer TM8204 laptop, Intel Core Duo, HD SATA 120GB.
My distro is Ubuntu Edgy.
When the system shuts down, the hard disk makes a slight squeak + single "tick"
noise, as if it is parking
itself not properly. It does *not* do this under Ubuntu Dapper.
