I have the Apple Aluminum USB Keyboard. I have tried to use it on Fedora
9, Ubuntu 8.04 and Suse 11 with the same problem on each distribution.
The keyboard is acting like a laptop keyboard with the number lock on to
the QWERTY keys change into a numerical keypad. I can't figure out a way
to stop it. I've tried changing the layout and also type of Keyboard
with no avail. Only some keys work as people have previously mentioned.
This is the only thing stopping me from using Ubuntu on my Mac Mini.
Seems like the problem is due to the hardware not being supported by
Linux since this keyboard is clearly different internally than most.
Hope this gets worked out.
