Public bug reported: "Weave is a Mozilla Labs project to integrate web services into Firefox by allowing users to securely share their data with other users and 3rd parties. As such, the Weave encompasses a Firefox add-on, a server component, data sharing APIs, etc." - http://wiki.mozilla.org/Labs/Weave
Weave is creating a pretty good amount of buzz - it would be great if people could install it without needing to compile it themselves (right now, only x86 binaries are available, leaving us amd64 users out in the cold). Compilation instructions are here: http://wiki.mozilla.org/Labs/Weave/Building It looks like it's pretty straightforward - I'd be willing to bet someone familiar with Firefox extension packaging could do this really quickly. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [needs-packaging] Mozilla Weave https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/246808 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
