I'm using Firefox 3 as it came along with Hardy 8.04, and no matter what hinting I use, the kerning in the printed pages and/or the print preview is wrong. When I print the same page from within IE 6 (using the IE4Linux install) the page renders and prints correctly.
As you can see in the attaced jpg, the left example is how the printpage looks (special print.css file) on the screen, and on the right how the print-preview looks and will print. Never had this problem with Feisty/Gutsy and Firefox 2. ** Attachment added: "font-kerning.jpg" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/15904222/font-kerning.jpg -- Wrong kerning in printed pages if font hinting is set to "medium" or "full" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/185700 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
