The upgrade was well executed. I noticed indeed a lot of warnings related to the locales, but with no negative results. Cupsys was left in an "unstable" state according to the package manager, but it turns out that it was able to restore itself; printing works. The only point is that the upgrade manager suddenly left, without a closing message (as I expected), but besides that, everything is now working fine. So, this is probably not a bug, and if it is, it is not a serious one. Thanks for looking at it, and for all the work that went into this Ubuntu release.
