Description:
I use svg graphics as my background on the desktop. Artifacts have appeared on
the desktop (and in the Gnome thumbnails) where I have selected an area with
the 'text tool'.
These artifacts are not be seen in inkscape, and cannot be selected or deleted.
To replicated:
- Create an inkscape file on the desktop.
- Use the test tool to select several areas. No text was entered.
- Save, and view Icon, or set svg graphic as desktop background image.
