Yeah, similarly new install of hardy, currently running xfce, and gedit does it's stuff in a new window. Is there a setting that normally switches between only tabs mode and window mode, or is tab mode just supposed to be the default and you have to individually specify to get it in a new window?
'cause perhaps messing with such a setting would allow those of us with this issue to deal with it until the default behavior gets consistent again. -- opens two instances of the same file when using some themes https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/209243 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
