The frontpanel is called livedrive, and for me (audigy 2 platinum) it
does not work on ubuntu hardy too.

Moving from 6.10 to 7.10 I lost access to my soundcards frontpanel microphone
in.
The frontpanels headphone out still works fine.
Comparing the mixers from 6.10 to 7.10 I found several mixers missing,
including "line 2", which was used to control the frontpanels microphone in on
6.10.
Seems like the soundcards is recognized as a "Audigy 2 ZS" instead of
"Audigy 2 Platinum" or something like that.
