Public bug reported: I don't know much about computers, but lately Ubuntu has been crashing a lot. Most of the time it crashes when I am running firefox, but it also crashes when using other applications as well. Here are the symptoms:
1.) I can move the cursor and have audio, but the visual freezes. 2.) Dotted lines start coming up all over my screen, especially on the tool bar. It may be because my computer is old, but I'd hate to upgrade and still have the same problems.
