Public bug reported:
1. install hardy heron (on a box with a radeon 9600 gfx card)
2. (install all updates as of 2008-july-12)
3. (but dont install the restricted driver)
4. run "glxgears" from a terminal
Expected: glxhears should run.
Actual: glxgears crashes with the following error:
$ glxgears
