Sorry for not replying earlier. I tested "View | Show Hidden Messages" without success. Then trying to log with "env" resulted in a 60MB log file which I don't think will help you any further.
One thing I'd like to know from you: If you take the attached file "DemoEvolutionError_MailboxFile", put it into your mail folders and look at the folder from within Evolution, what do you see? As you can see in a text editor, the Mailbox file contains *six* email messages. However, in my Evolution only *four* messages are displayed (see also my screenshot in a message above: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/15941361/ScreenshotAndMailboxFile.zip ).
