3)Select System>Preferences>Screen Resolution (Gnome-display-manager)
Untick cloned
Rearrange monitors so second monitor is to right of first monitor
Try any combination of screen resolutions
Click either of two options (keep resolution/use new resolution)
System likely to hang completely
