Public bug reported:
I have an LG LM40a laptop and running Kubuntu Edgy on it updated daily.
When logging in into the KDE session power manager shows two popups: "Laptop
lid is closed, doing nothing now" and "You are low on battery power". These
messages are wrong. Lid is not closed (i am seeing these popups) and battery
power is 100% and i am running on AC power.
When the battery charging is over power manager popups "You are low on
battery power". Also it reports 230 hours or so of remaing battery time
during charging.
