Binary package hint: xorg
I recently upgraded Hardy to Intrepid.
Everything went smooth, except that the (closed source) nvidia drivers didn't
work with the latest version of X, so I had to downgrade.
So, in /etc/apt/sources.list I added both the intrepid and hardy repositories.
Then I tried to install the correct nvidia drivers using EnvyNG, which happily
downgraded X for me.
(I had to modify the sourcecode of EnvyNG to accept that I was using Intrepid).
Now, finally, X and Nvidia works again on my machine. I've tried all the
available Nvidia packages in the intrepid repositories and also the
packages from Nvidia.
However, this bug is not about that, but about the title, which apport
somehow found appropriate to report in.
Here's the version of X I'm using that works with Nvidia:

My main issue now is that I need to watch out when apt-get upgrading so
that I don't install the newer version of X.
In conclusion, package x11-common 1:7.3+10ubuntu10 failed to
install/upgrade since it's in conflict.
