Attaching Xorg.0.log that shows what happens if I'm using the very latest version of X on Intrepid + Nvidia.
It's basically this: (EE) Failed to load module "dri2" (module does not exist, 0) dlopen: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers//nvidia_drv.so: undefined symbol: AllocateScreenPrivateIndex (EE) Failed to load /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers//nvidia_drv.so (EE) Failed to load module "nvidia" (loader failed, 7) (EE) No devices detected. I don't really know how to categorize this bug, but something, somewhere, bugs. :) ** Attachment added: "nvidia-glx-96_X.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/16008869/nvidia-glx-96_X.txt -- [intrepid] package x11-common 1:7.3+10ubuntu10 failed to install/upgrade: pakker i konflikt - installerer ikke x11-common https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/248353 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
