I can confirm that font rendering for OpenOffice in Edgy is completely
ugly. This seems to be an inherited bug from Debian, see

While in Debian Etch at least antialiasing is somewhat working in
OpenOffice, which makes fonts not a complete pain in the eyes (but it's
very close to - damn unsharp), not even antialiasing seems to work for
OpenOffice in Edgy (completely up-to-date).

Btw, I'm running OpenOffice under KDE in both Edgy and Etch.
