Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Firefox loads part of the page and then freezes, going into some kind of tight internal loop. The window (in Ubuntu) goes grey and Firefox starts consuming large amounts of cpu. The process has to be killed and FF restarted. I've tried loading this page 3 times and it does the same thing each time, so it should be a good reproducer. http://www.ipodnn.com/articles/08/07/14/iboot.iphone.dual.booting ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Mon Jul 14 17:23:11 2008 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04 NonfreeKernelModules: ath_hal Package: firefox-3.0 3.0+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1 PackageArchitecture: i386 ProcEnviron: PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: firefox-3.0 Uname: Linux 2.6.24-19-generic i686 ** Affects: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- This web page causes Firefox to lock up https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/248456 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
