Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

I am using Thunderbird as my default mail client (it downloads mail much
faster, and it learns spam much faster than Evolution).

If I work in OpenOffice Writer and try to send a document (doc-format)
as an attachment, Thunderbird opens and displays an alert saying it
cannot bind the attachment, asking me if the file is freely accessible.
It looks like OOo Writer tags the file "In use" and as a consequence
Thunderbird cannot send it.

If I close the file, open a new Thunderbird message and attach the file
to it, everything is OK.

I am using all the latest stuff from the repository.

** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
