Public bug reported: I am finding that with at least one game, Double Solitaire, paint/redraw events are very slow. The same version of wine is on two machines, one with a GeForce 6800, the other with an MX4000. The slowdown is most notable when you resize the window after the initial deal, and the game has to scale the cards and redraw them. An event that used to take less than a second on either machine now takes 2 or so on the faster video card, and upwards of ten seconds on the slower of the two, and is very glitchy and erratic on the latter, slower card.. In this instance, I am using wine version "1.0.0-1-ubuntu4~hardy1" (as reported by adept). Both machines used to run Gentoo, and on that distribution, Wine's performance was fine regardless of which version I was using. No fancy compile/optimize settings were used there (just -O2 and that's it).
