Public bug reported:
When clicking on "Advanced Options" in the "Gerneral" Tab of the
"Desktop Effects" part of systemsettings. I get a configuration window.
Clicking "OK" in this window freezes my computer if I have touched any
setting in this dialog. It does not seem to mattter which of the
settings I change, it always freezes the box.
This might be a issue with the graphic driver: I am using a laptop with
a ATI Mobility FireGL V3200 graphics card which is really badly
supported in the free drivers (and not at all in the proprietary ones).
Intrepid brings a new and improved driver for the card, maybe that is to
blame here.
