Binary package hint: vlc
vlc randomly crashes when opening the file browser function with the
following error in the terminal.
GLib-GObject-ERROR **: g_type_plugin_*() invalidly modified type
`GFileInfo'
it does this with the ubuntu package and vlc compiled from source.
