I think there are at least 3 different bugs reported here.
If you are still experiencing this problem on Kubuntu Hardy, please install
kdebase-dbg and file a new bug report with a backtrace and as much detail as
possible about when the crashes occur. I am closing this one because separate
reports will be easier to deal with.
