Definitely these two options need to be documented in the manpage. I'd also suggest the creation/addition of ENV variables to go with them. To get the desired behavior I need (I develop for other debian based releases from Ubuntu) I set:
--distributor RANDOM and get more or less the Debian behavior I expect.
